Although the documentation for this unit clearly states that it tests TS cables, it does not. It tests TRS which use 3 pin connectors. TS uses 2 pin. You CAN however use the provided test probes which plug into the right and left banana jacks. This is basically a single conductor continuity tester. Touch one probe each to the tip on each end of your cable. Repeat on the sleeves of each end. Successful connections will be indicated by the LED lighting up and the unit beeping. No LED or beep will indicate a failed connection. All other connectors on the unit work fine. Overall a good solidly built cable tester. Just beware of the TS issue. I love their products. Always have and always will. But they need to get their info right when describing their stuff. That being said I would definitely recommend it for anyone needing a good cable tester at a cheap price.Read full review
