I had an old laser printer that I wanted to put on my home network. This device allowed me to do it. I had to figure out how to set it up, but it really wasn't that hard for somebody with a little computer knowledge and Google. I needed an Ethernet cable, but I had a few of them. I'm not sure if this thing had instructions when it was new, but no instructions were included.

I will keep this short. I installed this on a small network, the installation went smoothly. Most of our computers are running windows 10 some are Windows 7 and XP. I am using this on a HP 4Plus printer for B&W printing and all is well.
