This is a great product to save money on printing. The CISS is made of quality plastic and look well made. I modified my setup from the instruction by directing the tubings through an opening I made on the right side of the printer. The printer's ink compartment top can be closed without obstructing the tubings. The print quality is perfect for all types of documents and even photos. I included a photo of a printed photo of the CISS. After printing a lot of pages, the reservoir tanks still have enough ink for a ton of more printing. I use the CISS on an Epson Artisan 710 and I have not experienced any issues. Artisan 710 models don't give the issue of error code "Can't identify the cartridge". I am very satisfied with this product.

Installed the CISS in my Epson Stylus Photo RX 580... had LOTS of trouble getting the Black and Light Magenta carts to recognize, but finally got it going. Printed out a few photos, results looked good. Turned the printer off, went to bed. Next morning turned the printer on again, Printed a few more photos, but now they were showing a decidedly magenta hue to them. Ran a nozzle check, and the light cyan nozzles were now printing light magenta! The light magenta ink tank was also 1/2" lower than the rest of the tanks as well. Turned the printer off, went to do some other things, and came back a short time later, and the printer powered on, said "Printer error, see documentation!". Powered off, and the printer never powered back on again. 2 hours of researching on the interwebs and no solution to get the printer to power back on... DEAD PRINTER... LITERALLY DEAD. This product is A REAL MONEY SAVER when you consider the price of genuine epson replacements at 65-80 dollars. It will pay for itself in no time. The cartridges that came with the new printer didn't last long enough to finish the set up. I have used a CISS system with every printer I've owned. this one is working great. A few weeks later. I had a problem a few days ago. So i asked the seller if they had fix for it. They did and it worked. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE . UPDATE: I HAVE CHANGED MY MIND. After using this ciss system Ihave found it's not that well; enginered. Sure they gave me a "fix" that works, but i have gone through the ritual every other day. So unless you have a lot of time to f#^@ with your printer 20-30 mts every time you need to print a one page document. Skip this product, move on,.buy something else, I am. Read full review

I worked as a printer technician cleaning and conditioning Primages, Okidatas, and HP plotters for the US Gov't; some time ago. I am comfortable with harassing electronic stuff. Two times I watched and listened closely to the associated Youtube describing how to consider the application of the continuous ink system. My Epson NX420 was directly referred as potential for application of this product addition. This helped. However, my personal complaint concerning the incorporation of this addition to the NX420 was the need to leave the top ajar while operating the printer. The NX420 was supposedly the only model meeting this criteria (referenced by me too) as necessary to meet this operational circumstance. An ajar printer lid might force do not print cycle, as a magnetic or mechanical latch may be involved. The NX420 might inform the PC of a non operational condition if a latch notification were involved. I watched the Youtube and looked closely at the inside of my Epson NX420. The all-in-one printer had lived unused in its original box since 2012, as I was on a budget, in college and had invested in a backup printer in my first year. (My Epson printer reliance, from 2010 through 2016 was an Epson CX8400.) The NX420 was a half priced reconditioned Epson ‘real deal’ I had carried past my graduation. Anyway, after assessing the consideration from the CIS dealer, I decided the Epson NX420 was not under the manufacturer’s warranty anymore anyway. I would go for it, abuse this NX420, as I believed I could install the CIS system while keeping the top door closed! I spent four hours supporting the tube system installation in a manner a little more incorporate than the associated Youtube described. I was experienced (and environmentally suicidal anyway, due my recent degree in energy economics from Evergreen State College…but that is too much crap!) Anyway I carefully removed a bit more body plastic and carefully extended the ink feed tubes outside the body where a closing lid would not pinch or restrict the CIS system. It is done! I have utilized refillable cartridges since 2007 and I am really pleased with this little $30 CIS system! The install and utilization of a (brand new?) Epson NX420 and a brand new CIS system are far superior and easier then refillable cartridges. Thank you for your great inexpensive product. I will save plastic usage from reliant throw a-ways consistent with a faulty mental model, by utilizing your corrective CIS system that replaces my older habitual reliance upon ink cartridges. If the seller cares to address this circumstance I will be pleased to relay more data. Else, B Al Gore’s Leer Jet: Donald T. CoughlinRead full review

The main reason for the 4 stars is that the written instructions included with the product are poorly written (or translated), difficult to follow, but what's more, do not agree with the video instruction on the website. Yet you need information from both the written instruction and the online video for a correctly functioning and workable installation. Once properly installed, it just keeps working and shows no sign of running out of ink. The secondary reason I did not give it 5 stars is that the ink quality and coverage is great on high quality inkjet papers, but for some reason the colors appear duller with poorer quality papers than from the OEM inks. But the price difference per print will be phenomenal, especially when I begin filling the CISS from bulk inks.
