I have another Epson XP-410 in VT. I needed to replace my old XP-400 here in FL. Easy to set up. Decent value, prints good. Not used for photos however.

I bought the Epson All-In-One XP-400 because it was wireless, because of its design and because of its price.. After years of heavy, clumsy-looking HP printers, I wanted something small and sleek and light and not too costly. The XP-400 was all of the above. However, because I had only owned HP printers, it never occurred to me to check the specifications. 35 days after purchase, I discovered that it had no Automatic Document Feeder (because its design was so compact, I assumed it was a feature hidden away somewhere) and thus could only copy 1page of paper at a time! 38 days after its purchase I also discovered it could not scan legal sized documents. I have communicated with the seller and am trying to find a solution to this problem. The seller has communicated with me, but for the time being, has nothing in stock. This printer is in perfect condition and I would gladly exchange it at a discount (+ 2yr. guarantee) for a similar one that has all the features I need.Read full review
I purchased The Epson XP-400 as a replacement for a 6 year old color printer that I had used very hard and had seen its better days. My original printer, many years ago was an Epson as was my original digital camera, which I still have and use from time to time. For my purposes as an a casual photographer and as a general computer user, the XP-400 completely fills my requirements. I have found the color print quality as excellent. In fact, I did some reprints for my sister and her reaction was, "Wow, they look like Postcards". Far better than my previous printer. The scanning work that I have done as part of my genealogy research produced copies very comparible to the originals. I have just recently replaced the ink cartridges and am satisfied with the number of copies produced on a set of cartridges. All in all, I feel the purchase was a good one. The price was right and dealing with the seller was fast and efficient. I recently recommended this printer to my son. It is both PC and Mac friendly. I am 80 years old, by the way and an active computer user.Read full review
This printer is a great wireless printer. It's easy to install and doesn't take up much space. I do know that if it sits too long without use, the printheads tend to clog and it won't print certain colors (this is my 2nd XP400). However, I liked my 1st one so much (it was actually given to me) that I decided to buy another!!

I originally purchased a canon wifi printer. It didn't work well with my application software. I couldn't get it to print the full page. Epson didn't give me that problem.
