Thank GOD I knew some woodworking. Look at the pictures: this is the way I received it. With 3 weeks till Christmas, my only other option was to return it and have nothing for the holidays, or just fix what I got. So I ripped it apart, clamped it, glued it, and put it back together. Even so - it's built like garbage and will not last in the long haul. Surprising, because Griffin has a name in the industry - it just goes to show you.
