Marker setup: Ninja 48/3000 tank, Empire 16" 2-piece barrel, Proto Primo loader, rest stock Only used the marker for one day of play so far, but it worked great. Velocity is easy to adjust with an allen key at the back. The stock twist-lock feedneck can be a little bit of a pain, but it does get the job done. Velocity was consistent enough, I don't remember the numbers. Using HPA helps with consistency. A screw-in ASA isn't all that bad with a couple drops of Tri-flow on the threads. The marker didn't break/chop any balls, but it was nice out so the gun might be rougher on paint at lower temperatures. I have not really tested the stock barrel since I was using my friend's barrel kit; the stock barrel is 12" I think with porting. The marker is pretty easy to maintain, there's only a couple o-rings that need to be lubed; they're easily accessible. The only bad thing I can say about this marker is it's LOUD. I fired it with the stock barrel and with the 16" empire 2-piece, and either way, it's LOUD. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, I just don't care for loud guns. This marker is comparable to a mechanical spyder. They will probably preform similarly, but the Kaos wins because Azodin (manufacturer) has good customer service, and its barrel is autococker threaded, which is becoming industry standard. I also think the marker looks better than the mech spyders. So, to summarize, it's a great beginner's gun that will be reliable and easy to maintain. If you get it new, it comes with a nice manual and some spare parts in case something goes wrong or needs replacing later.Read full review
The Kaos pumper is well rounded, easy to adjust, accepts most hoppers and any tank. Works well with either co2 or HPA (i recommend hpa with it). Comes ready to go out of the box. It's a really simple marker, and nearly impossible to break. Has a good detent system (uses cocker style detents) and also has splits for an 0-ring style detent in the barrel. The cocker has a hole to accept a hitman mod rady to do as well. And it doesnt break paint unless you mistreat it. Be careful if you use an 0-ring detent as if you use too small of a size then you will break paint and try not too dry fire the marker too much as the trigger assembly can wear down to the point that it will not catch (i put about 75 cases of paint through my kp pump before this happened)
Just wanted to give my 2 cents about the Azodin Kaos paintball marker. I purchased this because I was looking for something that was inexpensive and easy to upgrade. I also considered an entry level Spyder paintball marker but liked the way this one looked better. I have to say that I was impressed with this marker. The low retail price tag was nice, but I found that I didn't have to spend extra money on all the upgrades that I originally thought I would have to buy to make this gun shoot great. Out of the box I was hitting what I was shooting at. Stock barrel is great. I liked the light weight of the milled down body as well. If there was a down side I did have to change the hammer O-ring the first time out but luckily I had one in the spares kit that comes in the box. Other than that this marker is well worth the cost of entry. All you need is a Co2 or compressed air tank (both work), a loader, and a mask. My recommendation is to get yourself a new Azodin Kaos and go have some FUN!!!Read full review
A very decently priced marker for a great package. The Kaos has a very high rate of fire for a manual marker while also keeping great accuracy at distance, from a range of 40+ feet firing rapid fire I was able to nail a target only 1.5 feet in diameter with every single ball, wonderful marker for the price tag, strongly recommend to everyone.
Flaws I found out is when you tried to put a high pressure tank on to the word get screwed into that if it has anything within like an inch of where you screwed on at the bottom of the handle that you have to buy a adapter so that you can put high pressure tank on. I would say starting paintball be a good gun for them
