Book contains valuable information about foods that help with various health issues. Offers many alternatives using food as your medicine, without the dire effects that many drugs cause. I bought this book as a gift for someone. I have used the book for many years since my daughter was diagnosed with a terrible disease. It reiterates what we all should know - the basis of good health starts with good nutrition. I also like the fact that the book backs up much of its information with studies done by various research studies.
