Considering the price of this product compared to others like it, I would say it is a good value. I had a little trouble getting the "side rails" into place because of such a tight fit. The pictures in the instruction booklet are useless due to poor quality of the reprint. When I emailed the company for some help I could tell that I was communicating with foreigners that did not speak perfect English. They wanted me to send them pictures of my problem. Luckily, the boat assembles pretty easily, the foot pump works fine, and the rowing system works great! (ask me how I know) Only time will tell how well the glue hold everything together!

I have only had the dinghy a couple of weeks and so it has had little use. However, it appears to be good quality. The assembly was a bit of a challenge, especially fitting the floor boards. Could use more clear instructions.

I have kept this dinghy on my swim platform in Florida, protected from the sun by a loose cover. For one year nothing was wrong, but now, after 18 months, the bits start falling off. The grab handles are starting to detach from the hull, and several of the grabrope attachments have come off completely. It is as though the glue is giving up and has dried out. The hull is still in one piece, but when that starts to go it is curtains of course. I tried glueing with superglue but that did nothing. Will report further when (not if) the pontoons fall apart.

I was an inflatable dealer for several years and imported boats directly from China. I know what to look for in these boats. This is a great value. I now have had mine for over a year (1.5 seasons of use). I am exceptionally happy with this purchase. The cloth is about 30% heavier than most on ebay, That translates to abrasion and puncture resistance. The quality of the build is very good and it has held up very well kept outside on the back of my boat (6 month season in Great Lakes climate, which is notably different than Florida or Texas). I do keep it coated with UV treatment which is always advisable on any inflatable. The price was equal to what I could get from my old import source, but it would take me six weeks to get it shipped. The only unknown is how long the glue will stand up. Chinese glues are notoriously weak. German and Korean glues are the industry standard, and I don't know what glue was used on these. Only another year or so will tell. It's the difference between a short life and a long life. But mine looks almost as good as the day I bought it. I plan to upgrade to the 10.5' as the wife wants a little more room. Right now, I would assert these are as good as West Marine or Zodiac or other PVC inflatables. Read full review
