They are comparable to those lights that are about $12 each so a great value. For the application I am using them for they are not quite bright enough but that is not the fault of product. They have a soft light and I thought because of the shape they would act like a mini spotlight and they don't. They are still functional and they all work right out of the box and maintain that with my southern exposure to sun. They are plastic but so is everything comparable at stores. If you want metal you sure as heck would be lucky to get one for the price of these eight.

The ad said that the dim problem had been improved, so I took a $35 chance on them. False. I followed the instructions and let the batteries charge for 12 hours before letting them turn on, and they are still very dim. I bought them to illuminate foliage in my yard. Not worth the $35...

Inexpensive lamps so I bought them.I am very dissatisfied, they are very dim flood lights not sure what they would be good for and would not recommend them at all. I put them in the trash and bought a real set of lights at the local hardware store.

They seem to be kind of touch and go in terms of working at night when they should. I used two of them on an electric mower to mow grass in the evening when it's cooler. Some of the ones lining my driveway work and some of them don't, even though they may have initially. Maybe too many solar flares.
