This was one of the very first scooby doo cartoons to be put on DVD, Its fantastic , and will keep the kiddies busy and happy. having 5 Children Scoooby was always my best friend, It was my time to getthings done when scooby went on, the kids were busy and i could do the things I needed to. he has been a life long friend to me. and I admit, I have seen every one ofthem, and still own all. they are my litte piece of my kids childhood. Just the music alone make me think back of when my kids were small. I love scooby., what a well thought out series with bright bold colors and a plot in every show. makeing the kids think, nothing like todays cartoons which seem to just leave them looking like zombies. Scooby was a cartton that you had to use your mind and my kids did , they use to sit and guess who the bad guy was, it was adorable. Scooby doo has a place in my home, and heart. a Wonderful cartoon series. Many many stars have even appeared on scooby doo. .. and scooby gets many many a++ and Stars ***** formRead full review
This Scooby Doo movie is unlike any other I have watched. The good thing is it includes the entire gang not just Shaggy and Scooby. However, Scooby and Shaggy have 3 times more screen time than Fred, Daphne and Velma. The set up is that the gang is in Hollywood and they are really actors staring in the their own show. It has a kind of like a behind the scenes feel to it. It has Shaggy trying to prove to the studio executive that Scooby is ready to broaden his acting horizons and do some serious roles. They make a series of mini-movies to include a western, and Scooby doing some figure skating to show Scooby's range as an actor. It was enough to hold my 5 year old son's attention (which can be a God send) but for the adult that has to watch it with their children, you are in for a "nails on the chalk board" kind of evening. Gone is everything that made the show so appealing when it first came out. It is very painful to watch this show and not wonder "Why did they screw up the show I loved!" It borders on silliness and should be used by the CIA in the interrogation of suspected terrorists. They would sing like birds! I know that my son has watched it once but for the kid that watches the same Scooby movies countless times, that does not say much for this product. I HIGHLY recommend that you pick up the original series (Scooby Doo Where Are You?) from 1969 & 1970 and the tv series "What's New Scooby Doo" that ran from about 2002 - 2005. My son loves both equally well. You will have countless hours of family enjoyment. The only Scooby Doo DVD that my son absolutely hates is the "Scooby Doo Arabian Nights". I am not exactly sure why. The only good thing about this DVD is that it cost me under $10.00 on E-Bay. I quickly found out that you get what you pay for.Read full review

Verified purchase: Yes | Condition: Pre-owned
This is one of my favorite Scooby Doo movies. It follows Scooby and Shaggy as they try to convince the network CEO that Scooby has what it takes to be a Star. What takes Scooby and Shaggy awhile to understand is the fact that Scooby already IS a Star! This movie is just a fun time! I would recommend it to any Scooby fan!
It Came before the delivery date. Overall, good movie with a lot of stuff happening in Hollywood
