I bought this watch to replace another Timex Indeglo which had worn out the battery and band. I still prefer the older watch for the following reasons. First when viewing the watch at night by pressing the crown and turning the indiglo light on, I find the h ands on this watch are difficult to see because they are very narrow and fine. It takes a second or two to determine hand placement. Secondly, the day/date block shows up as a dark block, and sometimes (like at 3:15 am) thehands disappear totally. Additionally, the leather band on this watch is very thick and stiff and difficult to put the excess tounge into the fixed keeper loop, and the sliding keeper loop. The watch keeps great time, is quiet, and will probably last a long time, as my old one did. Setting the day of the week is still a mystry, but I don't care about that. I love this watch. I bought a different Timex which I also like but it did not have Indiglo which I use at nightnto see the time this one does. I like the day and date function, indiglo, nice strap, comfortable and it is a quiet watch, I can’t really hear it. In my opinions n it looks very nice. It’s dial is fairly small and unobtrusive and yet I can see the time easily without putting on my glasses. Very happy with my purchase.

I received this watch and it looked great, however when I used the stem to set this watch the time was okay, next to set the date and the day the stem came out with a spring attached (never was able to set these features). So I just put to watch on to wear and later that evening my whole lower arm broke out into a rash!!! Never again.
