I used this product to plant my dieffenbachia in. My dumb cane seems to love this stuff from the looks of its new leaves. This product was clean with the exception of a small amount of dust and little pieces. I really like the idea of not messing with potting soil and worrying whether theres air pockets in the soil after transplanting. Watering is far simpler as well. The only negative is the cost, its quite a bit more than soil but so far I'm enjoying the results regardless.

Great product, good price for this quantity. If you're using this with an aquaponic setup I'd recommend thoroughly rinsing the pellets first because there is a lot of clay dust on them that will make your tank cloudy.

I am entirely satisfied with the product. I only gave it 4 stars because I wish I could have selected my size instead of a variety between 4 millimeter and 16 mm. It was too good a deal to pass up. I don't mind a little bit of sorting as I wash all the Pebbles anyway.

I am going to try to grow bonsai plants, and orchids.. This clay based product will fit my needs. Pellets varied into to approx. 3 different sizes so will fit several different sized pots. Pellets were soft enough to be broken into different sizes as needed, but sturdy enough that they won't disintegrate. They will also be nice looking as a top layer to any flower pot rather than just dirt or some moss. I had put the pellets in plastic bags for storage and left them sitting on the floor by the door. Dog thought they looked like dog food so he tore into the package. He didn't eat them once he got them open, but just an FYI --- keep them out of dog or cat's reach! :-)
