This is just about the oddest quilting book I've ever seen. It shows the reader how to make the exact same quilts that the authors did, even though the designs are their abstract interpretation of the poems used. The authors' designs are fine (though many are very similar) but why would I want to copy their designs? I want suggestions and instructions on how I can create my own designs in response to poems that move me, or that I write. I didn't do enough research before buying, but I thought this book would contain poetry written by the authors. Back to the drawing board.
