Directed by Christopher Nolan from a script by David Goyer and Charles Roven, Batman Begins features Christian Bale in the lead role as Batman and his billionaire dual identity, Bruce Wayne. The stellar supporting cast includes Liam Neeson as Ducard, Michael Caine as Alfred, Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox, Gary Oldman as Lt. James Gordon, Ken Watanabe as Ra's Al Ghul, Tom Wilkinson as Carmine Falcone, Rutger Hauer as Richard Earle, Katie Holmes as Rachel Dawes and Cillian Murphy as Dr. Jonathan Crane and The Scarecrow. Opening with Bruce as a young boy, Batman Begins follows the evolution of young Wayne from the murder of his parents on through to his training to become the caped crusader. The death of his parents leaves Wayne with an unfocused anger. As a young man, he turns to the underworld he despises so much, hoping that by submersing himself, he will understand his enemy better. We pick up Wayne in a prison in a distant land, where he is picking fights with unseemly inmates, which he terms as "practice." Ducard (Neeson) is impressed by his spirit and invites him to train under the tutelage of Ra's Al Ghul and the League of Shadows. You know what I like but this Batman series finally got out the gate all the other Batman movies starting over at telling the story of Bruce Wayne and how he became Batman we all know the story Starbucks good accuracy in start in the middle of a fight don't keep rehashing the same old story line from a different point of view just get going that's why I love the series doctor said I got out of the gate the quality was unbelievable it was some more believable movie there was some stuff in there that you could just tell that Hollywood did let go and you could tell they didn't work the first time it seem more realistic more like a believable Batman if someone was actually try to be Batman definitely am on my paper Batman series highly recommended

This movie is really good! If you want to get the history of who the Batman is of the new Batman movie series, you have to watch this one. It is a intro to the next Batman series starring Christian Bale as Batman. From a young troubled boy to a man looking for meaning in life, Batman's character unfolds as the title suggests "Batman Begins." I rated this movie as "Good" because it cannot be rated equal to the sequel film "Dark Night" which mesmerized audiences on behalf of the Oscar nominated performance by Heath Ledger as the Joker. All in all "batman Begins" is a great film to have and watch time and again.

I was not sure about Christian Bale as Batman, but I was pleasantly surprised to find he did an excellent job in the role. Supporting cast was also very good. An entertaining movie, I recommend it!
