Very decent camera. You can use any OTG camera app at the Play Store. Rigid cable comes in handy for car work, checking out belts, etc. Recommendation for the manufacturer. For the first 2 inches at the connection you should have some flexibility. Have the cable soft , NOT RIGID at the connection. The usb connection bent due to the stiffness when I moved my tablet. I'm considering modifying this part myself.

The onboard LEDs in the tip are activated by pressing the button on the USB connector. But they are not bright enough to actually see anything. The camera does not show anything at all in dark places even with the LEDs on, and even if it is within an inch or two of a surface you want to see. The quality of the image is quite grainy. Light sensitivity is poor. Dynamic range is poor. Coupled with the dim LEDs, this is why it cannot see anything in the dark. The required app to use this camera on Android is "CameraFi". It has mediocre ratings on the Google app store. I block most ads on my device, so I did not encounter problems from ads in the app, but many people found that they obscured important control and settings buttons in the app. The app also tries to convince you to install an external version from outside the app store that may or may not be safe -- but it does not appear to be required, as the ordinary version did run fine for me. Also the resolution is only 640x480. Do not believe any claims to the contrary. Overall: this camera will allow you to see in narrow or convoluted but well lit places. I was hoping for alittle bit better resolution 640x480 but it works I haven't tried in in real world applications yet but light is not very bright for larger spaces like air ducts would be nice to have a zoom capability also. Im giving it 4 stars it was a low price and i have high expectations. I imagine this works best with dealing with with small pipes and not so much interior walls and ducts. The cord is very long and hold the shap you bend it to wich os very nice overall a good product for the price.

It doesn't operate as a 2mp camera as stated, it operates as a .3 mp camera, so yes it's grainy and yes, a nice flexible cable end for the USB connector would have been a nice touch. On the other hand, this thing doesn't cost 50 american dollars, For the price, it's a really great deal.

the description is correct for the scope, but as other mention, the picture is grainy, it doesn't work well in anything but bright light conditions. The USB connector has a tinny hinge to use with micro usb or regular usb. this is in the way when trying to use with a smart phone and tight connection space. I used this device twice before the connector broke apart. I am glad I didn't pay much for this device. definitely did not live up to my expectations. save your money.
