I love this cookbook, would double or triple the rating if I could! Originally checked this book out from the library and knew I had to own it! The photo's of the food are amazing! Included in the cookbook are ingredients that can be found in farmers market's across the country. The recipes range from quick and easy to gourmet so many different cooking styles will work well with this cookbook! Chapters share recipes for wild and domestic greens, herbs and alliums, cabbages and other crucifers, corn and beans, vining fruits and vegetables, summer vegetables such as eggplant, tomatoes, and peppers, roots and tubers, egg and cheese, small tender fruits including berries, grapes and figs, winter fruits including citrus and subtropicals, along with much more! Deborah Madison has so much information to share too! She writes in an easy to understand manner with clear cooking instructions and ingredient information. She is also the author of Vegetarian Cooking for Everyone which I will also be bidding on! This cookbook would make a wonderful gift and a must have for folks with herb and vegetable gardens too!
