While I was building an absorption spectrum analyzer with a 3 colour LED and LRD, I thought there must be an easier way. Then I saw this on the Internet. Its basically doing the same thing, accept I only use a white LED and the sensor sorts out the colour part. Quick and easy to set up, I used an Arduino Nano and had enough pins left over for an I2C display. Next I'm hoping to use it for Rarmon Spectography and UV fluorescence. enjoy....

It is not accurate and does not give steady readings. You put same color under it and it gives you different readings each time. You can not use it for any serious use.
