Its the standard blah blah blah with a twist! they're fast, they're quite and the cost per TB is low but the nicest feature of this drive is its slim size they're about 25% shorter than the standard 1" height 3.5" desktop drive so when multiple drives are placed in a server environment where drives are often stacked next to or on top of each other these allow air to flow more freely. They also run on the cool side which makes them ideal for low-end servers. the mounting holes on the drive are standard so there's no mounting issues jut a little more breathing room. They're not enterprise grade but they do well in media servers where large storage capacity is needed at a minimal cost. These are well suported even on lower end raid cards (Adaptec 5805, LSI 92408si, etc)
