Haven't tried it out yet but it is decently designed and will work for my remote camera in my entrance. Connecting it to a solar panel to provide 5 vdc to a security camera. Using the output from a 12 volt solar panel regulator and battery to this device. Much easier and less expesive to use a small solar panel and battery than to run electric cables to the location.
