The item arrived promptly. NOTE: the M42 mount is about 45 degrees off center. To see the f-stop and focusing markings on tope of the lens, I need to turn the camera about 45 degrees to the right. Looking at pictures on the vendor website, that appears to be how the adapter was designed. No fault of the seller.

Works great with M42 Fujinon.
I chose this particular adapter to use with older M42 Fujinon lenses that have a pin which must be pushed in to be able to manually adjust the diaphragm.. There is a little ridge in pasy the 42mm thread that nicely holds the pin . Without it, the iris remains open no matter how the diaphragm is set..
