The Alligator Clips with Leads worked better than some of the test leads that I have bought recently. The wire seems to be more substantial and it is soldered to the Alligator Clips on both ends. The reason that I gave this product "3 Stars" had to do with the "rubber sleeve" or "boot" that surrounds each Alligator Clip. The "rubber sleeve" is a "bit" too flimsy. Because the "rubber sleeve" is like this, it makes it hard to open the Alligator Clip. The "rubber sleeve" on these test leads ARE BETTER than most of the Alligator Clips with leads that I have bought thru the internet over the last year.

I already had a set of these, but mine were getting pretty ragged, not being of very high quality to begin with. But for the price from this seller I figured there wasn't a lot to lose, so I ordered. The big surprise when these arrived is how much better quality they were than the original ones I had, which were close to 30 years old. These are much better made so I expect they'll see me to my grave.

After years of purchasing RadioShack quality junk clip leads, I finally found a set that has the wire secured and soldered. They will last me a long, long time, I am sure.

They do the job and all 10 pieces (20 clips) work. Light wire gauge, so don't try to pump a lot of amps through them. Perfect for quick wire jumping, testing etc. and with 10 sets and 5 colors, you can have them in the house, garage, shop if you need to.
