My 15 year old daughter has been playing a 3/4 size violin for the last 5 years. She is the only player in the whole orchestra not playing a full size instrument. It was time to upgrade. Violin prices and quality are all over the place. We are not renters. I'd rather own it, and sell when we are done. This violin is lovely. Very high quality. It is made in China. The quality and finish are outstanding. The listing said used, but it is obviously new. I don't understand the pricing for this model. I've seen the same model # sell for 3x what we paid for this. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Glad I spent a little more money. It sounds a lot better than the instrument I used in my methods class for Music Ed. It should be very helpful in demonstrations once I start teaching.

Purchased from Quin The Eskimo. Brand new never used as far as I can tell. Bow never rosined. I have a more expensive violin of nice grained woods etc. The V3 to my ears sounds all as good. Set up is fine. Rosin the bow, tune it and go.
