1, It needs no shell-holder. 2. Using the knurled fine-adjustment ring, it's easy to change the case-length by a few thou'. 3. The power-adapter is a blessing for processing a lot of cases quickly by using a drill. 4. To avoid losing pilots, I mounted the trimmer on a plank and screwed a small tin onto the plank to store the pilots and hex-wrench.

Pros: a lot easier to get correct length when trimming than w/ hand tools, also like add-on power shaft. Con: brass chips fall onto/into the 'pilot rack', seems either a catch tray should be included or the 'rack' moved to another location.

I am using mine right now, saw the request for a review on my email come up. I am using it on 223, I have 2000 cases to clean up after trimming them. I did have a problem with primer pockets until i received my Primer pocket shaper that fits in the one of the turning stations. The only thing I am not happy with is it did not come with everything I need. I would hve rather paid more for it and not have to wait after I get it to order more parts for it.

This is the best designed trimmer I’ve seen. The universal shell holder is superb. It’s easily adjustable and has a micro adjustable feature. Attach to your power drill and you can speed through a bunch of brass!

Have one of the frankford armory case prep stations, but I prefer this little guy. Sure you have to hand crank it (or use the drill attachment), but it allows you to make slight trims on cases, especially small cases, easier than the frankford station.
