Lots of Functions for a Low Price
This is an amazing little tester--tests most types of semiconductors. Although one can't expect Fluke-like accuracy from it (who would?), it helps identify some of those old hard-to-identify parts scavenged from old electronics units. I especially like being able to plug in a pot and see where it's set, i.e. the value of R for each side of the pot. I replaced the small battery with a larger one and added an on/off switch with a power-on LED. The unit does draw a few milliamps of current when switched off, so I recommend installing an on/off switch or leaving it on a charger to enable on-demand use.This is an amazing little tester--tests most types of semiconductors. Colour Screen Component Tester
First impressions are it looks and feels well made, has a colour screen which is clear and readable. It is ideal for checking components for their values and if they are ok. It is powered by an internal battery which you can charge up using the supplied usb cable. I think for the money I paid it is of great value. I have no bad points towards this item as it does what it says on the tin........
