Nice Camera for the money. The ONVIF features work fine (I'm using blueiris). The web interface works as expected. Configuration is relatively easy. The zoom is very nice - the nicest part of this camera. Image quality is good. The IR has very good range. My only complaint is that the camera doesn't focus well at night in some situations when zoomed out past about 10x and keeps hunting for focus. But, that's a nit and otherwise the camera is a good value.

I will explain the three stars in a moment. On the positive side, this camera has outstanding picture quality. I don't mean simply that it has good color saturation, which is often mistaken for "quality"... the colors are true to life and clear in detail. The zoom capability is well controlled and without edge distortion sometimes seen in cut-rate optics. Installation goes as well as any; this aspect is highly dependent upon the installer's abilities as is any technical device. Do not rely upon "instructions" from the vendor. On the down side, the software for Android is to be downloaded from their own site. Their eBay advert insinuates that one can download a viewer app from the Play Store, yet, there was none available at the Play Store when I received this product. Use the seller's web site via QR code, they say... Fine - though, being no computer tech, I rely upon Norton's antivirus and their ConnectSafe DNS to keep things clean. Norton advised that both their Windows and Android applications have Trojans embedded in them so I took Norton at their word. After bringing this up to the vendor, a Play Store app appears in a few days. I found this app to be about as useless other than for proving the thing basically works. Communications were timely considering the 12 hour time zone difference; very cordial conversations were held. That said, I had a difficult time getting it across that a product advertised as RTSP and ONVIF compliant should be recognised by any reasonable third-party software or NVR, & not be dependent upon their own (possibly infected) software. I asked for a brand name under which they may be selling this OEM-like product and/or a ONVIF sentence I can utilize. Failing to receive a solution from them, they offered a return of HALF my money if I pay shipping to China. Now - mind you, I bought this from an address in Marietta, Georgia. I would expect their stated 30-day refund to be a 100% refund with my return shipping to Georgia. But, no, that's not these peoples' deal, so be aware of this when buying. Just after receiving a return authorisation (at which time the return destination was revealed), I gave it one last serious internet search for a solution - and what do I know? It seems this camera is either an OEM for Floureon, or, it's from a common source for the same two sellers. Going by the camera's browser control screens and correlating web research - and by using "iSpy Connect" software's fantastic database - it seems that this camera can be well interfaced to a Windows 10 laptop and a Windows 7 desktop by using iSpy settings for a Floureon IPD-L26Y02-BS. The resultant RTSP stream for local use is - "rtsp://user:password@{IP address}/1/h264major" [substitute your fixed IP address as needed]. I found an important change needed to get the PTZ functions to work: Go to the camera setup options for PTZ, and set the User Mode to "Common". For Android mobile and tablet viewing, I've chosen the ONVIFIR application which comes in a free and in a "Pro" ($4) version. The Pro is worth it but the free one works, too. One trick is to use the "test" button rather than the "setup" button, and try using ports 554 and 8999 interchangeably until the app sees the camera. I haven't any experience with Apple products or apps as of yet though I expect the solutions to be similar. Forwarding ports in your router is not that hard to do, and ONVIFIR gives you the instructions for your own network along the way :) The night vision is suitable for a school yard or football stadium! The extra IR floodlight I had already set up for a separate purpose is seemingly superfluous, given the gobs of IR light this thing throws out far enough to well light up that which the 30X zoom can see over 50m away. Overall, I like the camera after the one week of live testing, four days outdoors as of this review. My rating would have been higher if THE VENDOR knew as much as I just wrote, so far as a basic sentence string for industry-standard formats and access to THEIR OWN product is concerned. My neighbor's Jack Russel gave better advice and I should bill for my time for solving an issue with which I cannot have been the first on earth to have experienced with this otherwise nice little camera package. Much respect to the individual respondent to my e-mails and questions; if only she or he had been backed up properly by the rest of their team on the technical side. Frankly, a 50% refund offer (plus MY shipping to the other side of the planet for something bought a day's drive away from me) for something with highly-suspect software and less than adequate connectivity support, was disappointing. That's why three stars and not five.Read full review

First issue: .app will not run on a iPhone 4s. Also it will not work with Verizon wired or WiFi. Printed instructions... even with a magnifying glass are unintelligible. You need a microscope. Scanned the web for hours and hours.. NOTHING. No way to load into a desk P/C. must use iPhone of very current vintage. I do not plan to spend 600 bucks for a neW phone.. I do not need.. and this plastic piece of junk might still not work. My other Ip outside gadget came with a DISC. Loaded in seconds and was fully featured. I have purchased a paper weight. I suppose someone...somewhere wrote the software for this boat anchor … looked at every piece of writing. NO POCs at all. Item is a Krap shoot. Yes, I tried to hard wire it besides WiFi… still it does not like Verizon Internet. Yet.. all my other gadgets work just fine. Also It seems to force you to use Icloud and then if you do not send $$$$$ you are cut off... the add never mentioned that lifetime expense. What I get for buying off of Ebay. What a piece of junkRead full review

Great value for a $125 China camera excellent low light capabilities for $125 camera. Full moon is all that's needed for long range Fair quality images out to a mile. Illuminator makes excellent quality images out to about 3 hundred feet in total darkness Illuminator will get a license plate on a stationary vehicle at 200 feet but not a moving vehicle. Full daylight will accurately read a license plate on a slow-moving vehicle at 250 ft. Definitely not a FLIR but well worth the $125 to fill the gap

If you want 100% of your activity recorded by a third party Chinese contractor, go for it. The camera itself is of ok quality. The only instructions that come with it are how to cloud connect to a Chinese app. To use this camera with your own offline system you will need some advanced networking knowledge. I’m currently working on finding third party firmware to see if I can get rid of the Chinese junk running it now.
