The Klymit refurbished sleeping pad arrived promptly and appears to be brand new. The only difference I can determine is the warranty, which is 3 months instead of 1 year to lifetime, depending on who it is purchased through. I plan to use it nightly for 2 weeks within the 3 month warranty period on a camping trip, so I am OK with the 3 month warranty for the difference in cost. I was already sold on this camping pad due to it's light weight and design. I have not used it outdoors yet, but it was extremely comfortable when tested on my floor. I will be using it with a light weight 1" Therma-Rest pad as the non-insulated inflatable pads all have an e-rating of only about 1.3 but the Therma-Rest pad was not particularly comfortable by itself. Together I should be warm and comfortable with a combined weight of just over 2 lb.Read full review

I ordered two. They both leaked the first night of a four day backpacking trip. Bummer! But Klymit was helpful and the return was pretty smooth. It’s a great pad while it holds air... though the valve system is not great.

When I opened the box, the pad looked brand new even though it was refurbished. I love how small it packs up. Not much bigger than a can of soda. It filled up in 9-10 big breaths and was very comfortable to sleep on. It held air very well except when inflating in warm temps and then it lost some air when it got dark. A couple of puffs and it was good for the night. The chevron design keeps you from sliding off the end or the sides by keeping you in the middle.

Camped last weekend - 20's at night. Mid March in the Mid West. Intended role - Bikepacking. Value - I bought a pad that had been through a return and a repair. I looked and felt like new. Very happy. Inflation - easy and fast. Valve - worked fine / no issues. Color - looks great. The green is very nice. Warmth - As advertised - more comfortable in my sleeping bag vs. laying directly on the pad. Laying on the pad was many times warmer than laying on the ground, but I would have chilled down overnight. Sleeping on my side was great. As advertised. Feel: Think air mattress, but high tech and light weight. This pad is light weight and it moves a bit more if you rest your knee down into it. Felt like my knee might be touching ground almost, or it was close. More air-mattress feel than sleeping pad feel. All good reasons to prepare your sleep site carefully. Think point loads - more risky to your tent floor pad, etc. Totally worth it when balanced against weight and pack size. Just different pads that much heavier and more bulky. Pack-up - pretty quick and easy with cold hands. I didn't attempt getting it back in it's stuff sack but it behaved itself.Read full review

I’ve only slept on the pad one night so far but so far. so good. It’s very easy to inflate and I love the light weight and small packing size. The inflation valves on the newer versions of this pad like this one are really nice - give you a chance to catch your breath without all the air rushing out between breaths. The price is good as well compared to some competitors.
