    Great piece

    The recoil spring plug was exactly what I wanted, sometimes from the pictures, because of the lighting it's hard to tell if some of these stainless 1911 parts will look as they are pictures once you get them. This one was, I wasn't worried about the fit, as much as the finish. Was it going to be a dark grey look, or a bright silver. It was perfect, just exactly what I wanted.

    I am very pleased with this recoil spring retainer. It is a nicely polished stainless steel and fits standard full length guide rods. Did not fit my Kimber black guide rod.

    45 1911 recoil guide plug

    This is a product that is easily lost as it is spring loaded and if not careful it will quickly disappear ,never to be found again. A spare is a good thing to have. The quality of this part is the same as the original part.

    Works very well and rather in expensive. Considering how easy it is to have these things fly across the room to never be seen again when cleaning I like to keep extras around. At this price that's a cheap insurance policy.
