When I bought I expected a lot of work because of the motherboard registration to Windows 10. It turned out that the board easily installed, switches were correct, I added the CPU and memory and connected all of the wires. Of course I took pictures of the old board installed and made sure the new board was setup exactly the same. When done the install and checked it twice, I powered it up. It recognized the new board and went into a default BIOS. It took about 5 minutes, but when it finally finished it's setup and opened up the windows 10 startup screen, I logged in and to my surprise everything started up as it was before the board died. All that was left was to update the software that needed it and it has been running fine. I expected much more work for the install, but HP seems to have done something right. Based on the horror shows I had read about, this was a breeze. DonRead full review
