This crossover works well, is solidly built, and for $200.00 is a great buy. I use this for a tri-amped home hi-fi system, and it does exactly what I want. It has VERY low noise, great adjustability, and a handful of important features (eg: phase correction for every frequency band) without a million unnecessary bells and whistles. If you want to use it as I do, you will need 1/4 inch-to-RCA adaptors. You won't believe how much better things sound with an active crossover and designated amps/speakers. It's night and day. If you require XLR connections, you'll have to get the 234SX which is a little more money.

What more can I say than that I am extremely pleased with this? This is my third unit! dbx is consistently good for the professional and very easy to setup for home use. Does everything I need in a tri-amp setup at home. This unit does bi-amp or tri-amp in Stereo, or quad amp in mono - so two of these you could do quad-amp stereo. With gain selectors for each variable crossover point, and phase inverters along with a sub-out channel, it is very versatile
