I was taking 15mg (1 1/2 tablets) daily Lisinopril until a friend who used to take it informed me about Carditone. She was advised by her naturopathic physician to take it instead because of little to no side effects experienced by some people taking Linisopril. it seems to work as good as Linisopril but I have to take 2 1/2 tablets daily to keep my blood pressure in the safe zone. At first I was taking 1 in the morning and 1 at bedtime, a span of 15 hours. My blood pressure at bedtime before I took the bedtime dosage was still in the target zone. But my blood pressure was a little high again in the morning even though the time span between the bedtime dosage and morning was only 9 hours. Not sure why this was occurring. For some unexplained reason my body needs more during the night compared to the daytime so I now take 1 in the morning when I awake and 11/2 at bedtime and everything is good now. The only drawback is the Carditone is a 4 times more expensive ($1.00 per day) than Lisinopril($.27 cents per day with $8 copay prescription drug insurance). If you can get by on 1 tablet per day it will be a little less expensive. Bottom line is it works as well as Lisinopril but you might have to take anywhere from 1 to 3 daily depending on the individual. Read full review

I purchased this item based on the positive reviews from other buyers. After nearly three weeks of taking this product, my blood pressure readings have gotten even higher. And this is in addition with the one prescription (blood pressure) medication I'm already taking. In fact, my BP readings are better without Carditone. I'm not doubting the positive reviews, I'm just saying that Carditone's done nothing for me.

I've used this product over two periods of time and in both cases have found that it will lower my blood pressure noticeably within about two days. It also lowers my heart rate. The only side effect that I have experienced, in both periods of usage, has been a somewhat plugged nose. If there were a way around this it would be a much preferred alternative to alopathic blood pressure meds. I certainly think it would benefit many people as either a primary treatment to hypertension or as a adjunct treatment along with AMA meds.

I take coconut oil to keep my veins cleaned out, but my blood pressure still tends to edge upward. If I take one of these every day, my blood pressure remains where it should, allowing me to stay away from prescription medications. Definitely recommended.

I would give it more stars, if possible. Carditone has a very long, successful track record of lowering blood pressure and stabilizing cardiac function. Many people get results with 1 capsule/day, however I personally use 2 capsules/day, along with some related BP and cardiac support supplements such as calcium, mag, D3 and hawthorn tincture, etc.
