I primarily bought this to use with my 2018, 35 ft. camper with slide outs. We winter in Florida between 3 to 4 months a year and I needed a good quality ladder to hold my old disabled Veteran 270 lbs. without worrying about stability while doing routine maintenance on our new camper, such as cleaning the tops of the slide outs off when debris gets under the roll toppers. It is a little on the heavy side for just a step ladder, but not really when you consider what a heavy duty extension set would weigh and this ladder can be configured to do so many more things. I feel safe and secure, the ratcheting legs help immensely, I'm not worried at all this ladder will ever buckle. I can see myself using this ladder alot more around home while the camper isn't in use too.

I've been a house painter over 25 years & I've bought a few ladders. Years ago I designed & built a removable leg extension for my extension ladders. It will safely extend one leg by 7", the height of one stair. It's a must for cutting in high ceilings in stairwells. The leg levelers on the Little Giant do that & so much more. My design requires you to attach the gizmo with 2 wing nuts each use & it's only for stairs, not for unlevel ground. The L.G. "Leveler" has a foot operated leg extender with multiple height settings. It takes seconds to extend a leg. (Mine takes 5 minutes) There's one on each side for hills sloping left or right. (I wish they were on all 4 instead of just 2. That would allow you to level a step ladder. The way it's manufactured it's only useable in the extension mode. No complaints, just observations. This is a great ladder & worth every cent. I have the instructions in my book rack in the bathroom. I've watched their 30 min. infomercial twice since I bought it. I intend to be as smooth with it as the guys who make & sell them. As per their recommendations I purchased a spray can of dry lube. I'm a firm believer in lubing all moving parts on my tools. The wheels are ample, right through grass. Mine weighs 34 lbs so it's no big deal to carry. It's super steady & you know when it's locked in a position. Mine was $179 at Lowes & I got an additional 10% veteran discount. Sweet. If you use ladders much at all YOU WILL NOT REGRET BUYING A LITTLE GIANT! Research the models & get the one that's right for you. There's also lot's of accessories. A few I plan to buy.Read full review

The ratcheting legs are truly the best innovation to ladders in my lifetime. This is the perfect size for just about every job. I have a 14 foot similar ladder without ratcheting legs for years and got this for a second home. This size is much more useful. Every home owner should have one.

I live in an area with a lot of uneven surfaces. I have leg levelers for my old ladder and wanted another leg leveler. The cost of the old leg levelers is so high I decided to buy a new ladder with the leg levelers built in. They are a lot better.

I bought this ladder to replace a 19ft ladder that I couldn’t use on uneven ground. This ladder is stable and very well made with its ratcheting legs. And I got it for $80 less than little giants website.
