Nice small radio. It puts out about 23,5 watts, so very close to its rating. Programming was easy with the cable. You have to make sure you get the right software from the QYT website or dealer. The manual could be better, but this is true of most of the Chinese radios. Audio was good and clear on both TX and RX. All in all a good deal for the price.

It's a nice little radio. I had it up and running on all my local repeaters in less than an hour. The one drawback is that it is difficult to program by hand. I used CHIRP programming software (free) with no issues whatsoever. Nice audio on both RX & TX. Great value for the price. This is the second QYT radio I purchased and I've had good luck with both. I would not hesitate to buy this brand again.

No problems so far , I definitely recommend you get the programing cable. Menus can be a bit tricky , but overall it's been great .

Without transmitting the case runs extremely hot to the touch as if something was shorted inside.
