I had these pedals installed at the. Bike Shop and the technician loved these pedals. I immediately took my MTB for a test ride and really love these pedals. They give you more pull and leverage. Really grip the bike shoes.

There are some tooling marks on the axles I wouldn't have passed thru QC, but they're functional and still look good. They spin freely, though they don't freewheel like a top and I'm good with that. The anodizing is quality. The only reason I don't love these pedals is that they're not a grippy as I had expected. I put them on my enduro bike and when my shoes get a little wet or muddy, they get slippy. I have a set of Rock Bros Palin pedals that hold fast in all conditions. All in all, I recommend these pedals IF you're not going to get wet and soppy .

I couldn't get my old pedals off, so I rode my bike to REI for the replacement. Their technician was impressed with the RockBros pedals, as am I. The ride is smooth & they look great.

Following a month or so of moderate use my right pedal gave out. It had snapped, becoming dislodged from it's original location sliding freely along the center peg. When this happened a small piece of the pedal jumped up and clipped my leg creating a small scratch that left a trail of blood on my leg. This could have been a freak accident and I'm not necessarily upset at the company but rather disappointed. While they were functional I really enjoyed using this product.
