This light is very bright and is perfect for illuminating a laptop's keyboard and nearby reading material. Don't know why some reviewers claim that the flexible positioning arm is weak. I have been able to position the lamp head where ever I need it to be without any problems. The flexible arm is easily strong enough to support the weight of the lamp head. The light is also well constructed.

This light is absolutely awesome, I use it in a dark room For my computer and it lights up everything, even the surrounding area. Brighter than I expected. It actually puts out a lot of light. I am using it to see what is on my grill when I cook at night, and I can see everything on the cooking surface when the light is about 4 feet away. The flexible neck makes it easy to put in position and make it stay where I want it. It was a good value, and is working perfectly so far.

Just plug it into a USB port, turn on the built in switch, and your keyboard is lit up nice and bright. It's totally adjustable, so you can easily put it in a position that is out of your way, and doesn't reflect off of your screen into your eyes. It's plenty bright enough to use during daylight hours as well. It really works great!

My other half complains that its MUCH too bright when I use it. He taped a piece of paper across most of the light, to tone down the brightness. I LIKE the brightness! It does what its supposed to do. The light itself is too heavy for the usb plug and its very loose. I've found that if I bend it into a C shape over the keyboard (laptop) it will use its own weight to hold itself into its plugin. Other than the loose plugin, I think its a perfect light. As I mentioned before, my hubby taped over the bulbs to "dim" down the brightness, when he did that he accidentally taped over the on/off switch. I just unplug it to turn it off. I don't know why I did without for so many years. I'm so glad to have this now. The "neck" of it is semi stiff and holds its shape, once you bend it to the shape you want it in.Read full review
