OK, I am cheap. Frugal is cheap. Im a DIYer and know a little more than the basics. So I saw this thing and thought it looked nice. I've seen similar looking models for 300 to 500 bucks. I dont plan on using it much just for when I burn something or there is too much smoke. Just hated having to open the windows. OK so installation, 3 out of 5, I did it solo and it wasn't that hard. Performance, very good at sucking out, better than expected. Noise, like a jet engine from the next room, rattles in low and only stops in high. Fixed that a bit by fitting a piece of wood under the motor and between the inside walls. medium and high are fine now, some minor vibration in low. Quality was better than expected but only time will tell. So far so good.
