When I received this everything was well packed and brand new. It does not come with a hard drive which was purchased separately you can use up to 4 terabytes for recording and hooking it up to your router and a monitor is easy. I personally used a TV monitor and put it next to my router to set it up and then I used my phone solely after that. I really enjoy using the app it's in real time and it's easy to use. The night vision mode actually works quite well. It's really good value for your buck but you got to remember that when you buy one of these you have to purchase a hard drive separately. I like how it's waterproof and easily mountable on the outside of your home. I recommend this to a person who wants to stay on a budget but get a real quality security system for their home.

Pretty good budget system! Video lags sometimes and you have to adjust the location of the box to get a good connection, the wires on the camera its self we made extra wide for some reason causeing us to drill a bigger hole than needed but thats fine i guess. Video framerate drops sometimes and the mouse that comes with it is annoyingly budget, ive seen better mice for $5...

The system is as advertised. Easy to setup and get operational. Would be nice if you could purchase it with a harddrive installed, but wasn't a problem since I already had a harddrive. Camera's are crystal clear. Playback is really good.

Only issue is the camera's.Mounting brackets won't allow for 360 degree rotation because antenna is in wrong position at 90 degrees hits bracket
