Haven't listened to this album in years. Great nostalgia. Cinderella has a bluesy metal feel. I really enjoy listening to this album.I would recommend this album.

The first thing I love about this CD is the memories of my youth related to the songs. Due to the unique voice of the lead singer, Tom Keifer, Cinderella is hardly ever mistaken for another band. This makes Cinderella consistent with recognition by their fans and by those who are not necessarily fans. These songs are timeless and should be enjoyed by this generation and those to come. There is a lot of talent included with this album. Even if you are not a "hair band" fan, the musical writing and inspiration of this group will win you over. This is much more to this band than big hair. I hope that more than the 80's and 90's leather-jacket/concert T-shirt rockers will discover this and appreicate it along with us, "the aged-hoods" of a previous generation.Read full review
If you are a fan of hair metal, I can highly recommend Long Cold Winter. Cinderella has many detractors, but I always thought that their first two albums were excellent, even when I wouldn't have been caught dead listening to hair metal. The vocals are awesome, the songs rock and all-in-all, it's just a really good listen. My favourite track: Gypsy Road I would also recommend Cinderella's first album, Night Songs.
After their first album Night Songs, this one is a little less hair metal sounding but is undoubtedly an amazing well written album. A lot of songs are deeper and undoubtedly still hit hard that if you like the first album you'll love this one. Amazing album for any hard rock/hair metal fan.

Cinderella was the only band in the 80's that had a blues style etched in their music. That is one of the reasons that they didn't die once people starting cutting their hair. And here we are heading toward the end of the 2007 and their fanbase is bigger then ever. The blues licks in this album are superb and leave you wanting MORE! MORE! MORE!! This album(cd) should have gotten more airplay then it did, but there is no time like the present. Anyone who has this cd and listens to a classic rock radio station, CALL IN REQUESTS FOR THESE SONGS. Spread this music!!
