Just getting started in your new business? Try to avoid this product. QuickBooks has more or less cornered this market, most of us use it. And it has a lot of powerful features. But QB feels no particular urge to be responsive to it's users. Two examples for you. Every time I log into my *desktop* account, I am forced to use a password. Since I manage two companies and switch between them sometimes several times in a day, I am *forced* to enter the password. This cannot be disabled, even though it's my account and my computer, and there is nothing particularly sensitive within my accounts that would require big brother to step in and tell me how to do things. The other is that on the home page is what amounts to an ad for QB services. It's a list of services they offer that they want you to buy from them, and you cannot get rid of it. That's just two examples off the top of my head, there are other things I encounter that frustrate me. I suppose I could switch to another product myself, but I've invested years in learning how to do things in QB. If I was just starting out I'd consider the free accounting programs out there, and pay for their higher levels of service as I developed a need for them.Read full review

I really did not want to upgrade to 2017 Quickbooks however Quickbooks makes you... This Quickbooks was a very good deal. I highly recommend.
