Great for traveling with. Can be carried in luggage that is checked to your destination. It is lighter than a real sword and the handle is thicker due to the retraction.

I like that it's plastic and can say it's not a real sword because I take it in the gym and practice in a room when no classes are going on; no one can complain or call it a "weapon". And I can conceal it in my handbag. Working out great!
