Xiaomi is a software development company headquartered in Beijing, China. Xiaomi produces a wide range of phones, TVs, laptops, mobile apps, smart devices, and other consumer-grade electronics. Xiaomi phones range from the budget-minded to full-featured software developments and include quality hardware, such as Snapdragon processors as high as octa-core level.

Xiaomi offers three different phones in the Redmi series. The Redmi 5A and Redmi Note 5A feature a 13MP rear camera. It focuses fast, so you can take high-quality photos. They have a dedicated microSD card slot for plenty of photo storage capacity. The phone is driven by a Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor for quick camera response. The Redmi Note 5A prime has a 16MP front camera that includes a selfie light. This LED light assures that you can take selfies even at night or in dim light. It also has a fingerprint sensor and runs on the Snapdragon 435 octa-core processor for faster shutter speeds and clearer pictures.

The Xiaomi Mi MIX was developed with the quality of the display picture in mind. The phone features a full display 6.4 inch screen. The screen is a technological advancement as it pushes the limits on how close the picture comes to the edge of the phone. The display has over 2 million pixels and is designed to give you a realistic movie experience even though it is a smartphone. The Mi MIX 2 improved upon the design by reducing the width of the bottom of the phone. The aspect ratio of this model is 18:9 which pushes the limits of display design even further towards a fully immersive movie experience.

When the Mi MAX 2 was designed, it continued to improve on features and the Mi MIX series. It features a larger 6.44 inch display that pushes the limits of the picture even closer to the edge of the phone. It has a larger 5300mAh battery which means more talk time and more streaming between charges. The camera features a Sony IMX386 sensor that helps with taking pictures in low-light environments. All of this is driven by the Snapdragon 625 processor with 4GB of RAM. It uses the MIUI operating system, which is based on Android. One of the best features of this processor, which ruins MIUI, is that it tends to run cool, which prevents overheating problems even when streaming games. This camera has a big enough screen that you can split the screen and perform two different tasks at once. It is possible to watch a video while chatting or read while taking notes at the same time. This eliminates the need to continually switch between screens to get the job done.
