Using these in old QNAP 5 bay. Hitatchis are typically not the quietest BUT very reliable and great seek times. I have had zero issues with these after using other manufacturers. I have almost moved all of my hosts to HGST/Hitatchi in the last two years and they have been very good but get a warranty if possible for replacements.
