I had an old Cuisinart immersion blender that I loved. It was a pretty old model, but worked great until the day I used it to death. So I was pretty comfortable buying a newer model of the same brand. This is not for people that use it on a regular basis. The safety is on top, and it's impossible to use one handed. You have to hold down the safety with one hand, then try to push the on button, which generally doesn't work right away. It is easy to take apart and clean, my old one wasn't. But I much prefer my older model.

No extra buttons to push. Have used this model every day for Over 7 years for my bullet proof coffee and other recipes. Just bought another as replacement and it works great.

It's very easy to clean and as far as operating it goes easy to operate as well. I took it off and was able to just wipe it with a cloth. It's clear cut on how to use it, The only complaint I would have is the handle is super bulky, so if your hands are small like mine you are going to be using two hands to use it. Overall not a bad purchase.

It came with a safety button on the top that has to be pressed in order for the power buttons to work. It is hard to do that. You often need both hands to hold the mixing bowl and the unit itself never mind a third hand on top of this blender to press that one also.

I had owned an earlier model purchased at Costco. I do not think that they carry this product anymore. So, I bought a NInja Bullet as a replacement. No comparison, I prefer this product better, also the extension arm is longer than my previous model which makes it better for the deeper containers or pots. Excellent product!!!
