I like this display. Hard to beat for the price. It is quite large. The circuit board is almost twice the width of the LCD display. Not a big deal to me. There is an I2C library already made for the interface chip. I was able to get "hello world" on the display in very little time using the arduino IDE. The contrast control doesn't work very well. The pot is at the end of its range for maximum contrast. It almost looks like the contrast could be a little better if there was more range available. The LCD backlight can be controlled on/off by software.

Works well. Took a minute to figure it out. After learning the basics its quite easy to use.

Caution brightness may be turned all the way up, in which case you won't see any text. For using with an Arduino, I only got the library and code linked/listed on this page to work: Hmm, no links allowed. Search google for LCD-Blue-I2C and look for the arduino info wikispace site Now it works just fine

The first one of these which I ordered was mildly defective. It mostly worked, but some of the segments remained dark. I returned it and ordered a replacement. The replacement works great. No problems and no complaints. No trouble with return. All good.

Was easy to wire up and use. Had to google link to library as links in ad were broken. Decent display and not hard to set up.
