I first discovered Ginny Arnell about ten years ago, when I purchased a girl group compilation containing "Dumbhead" & "I wish I knew what dress to wear" and was astounded at her ability to make the childish lyrics so poignant. Soon after, I tracked down a copy of her only lp and the cd collection previously released on Marginal records. While both of those were chock full of rare and wonderful tracks, I felt the sound on the Marginal cd was a little murky and my copy of the lp had a few issues as well. What a delightful surprise to find this release from Poker records with not only far better sound, but great liner notes (including comments by Ginny herself)and one song that I had never heard. And what a killer it is, "I'm crying too" is, in my eyes, Ginny's masterpiece. Gorgeous production, melody and singing combine to create what very well may be my favorite song ever. I'm not trying to disuade people from buying the Marginal collection, as it contains some very rare early Decca singles that are not to be found elsewhere. But if you are looking for the perfect Ginny Arnell collection.......look no further. A++++++++++++++++Read full review

Fantastic timepiece. An unjustly forgotten girl group era solo artist. Several of the songs are demonically catchy.
