Having owned Fenders 240CE Thinline, and I really dug that guitar, I now have this Cordoba Fusion 12 to compare it to and what's very strange is that you have about the same size guitar, similar woods and yet the Cordoba is a much better instrument. I did have to adjust the truss rod as the one sent to me was way out of whack. But it came back into shape. I like a low action, so I took some material off the saddle to lower the action, the nut was actually acceptable right out of the box. I don't think that ever happened to me before. The sound for a smaller body and just a tad over what i'd call a thin line for the depth, is very responsive. So responsive that I need to tone it down with a couple posts inside the sound hole, as I couldn't keep it from feeding back on my quiet use of Fishmans SA220 PA. But the electronics on this guy get a good sound -- not a quacky sound that I had with the Fender. If I were to have my own personal way with the luthiers at Cordoba, I would change the neck angle and lower the action before sending these out. I almost returned it because of that, but the guitar just spoke to me. Its just so nice to pick up. Its light, easy to hold and it will probably be the first guitar I pick up in the morning.Read full review

As an acoustic giutar player, I always disliked the broad necks nylon sting guitars forced you to use but this "fusion" is just that, a slim neck with the warmth of nylon strings, and boy is it nice....and the electronics are superb so...if you like sitting around goofing on your guitar, this is a good option..great construction and solid sound.

I was just now playing this guitar that is new to me. I am looking forward to taking it on the road or hooking it up to the computer to record. It is a player. Thanks.
