I purchased 2 and they both work. They are fun to use!! The lights will always start off red. When left on (via motion) they will change colors. The directions say it's programmable, but only at the time of use. My kids and family live them!

A household toilet might accommodate it better but the thin rims of camper toilets isn’t the best use
