After looking for the replacement pump only for our noisy DW, I found the complete assembly priced for less. This included the new pump as well as new housing. Replacement is very easy (many Youtube videos available for this EZ 45min job) It's been in for about 2 weeks and DW runs like new, I didn't notice it had gotten so noisy over the years but now you barely know it's on, plus the wash/cleaning is better due to better pressure in the new parts. Definitely better than buying a new dishwasher for $$$, with so few parts in a DW to go bad, we are probably good for many more years.

This part fit perfectly and is of great quality. Dishwasher was getting noisy when the recirculating pump and motor kicked on. It fixed the problem and now is even more quiet than before. I would recommend this product.

Whirlpool dishwasher, over time, became noisy during the wash cycle, emitting a 100+db whirring/ringing sound, I'm guessing a bearing went south. Dishwasher still worked though. I recommend this product. It is a genuine Whirlpool-brand replacement part that installed easy, fit perfect and restored my dishwasher to new condition.

Pump and motor work great! My only issue was that I had to use my old housing because my sensor was from an older model and did not fit into the new housing. No problem, I just unscrewed the new motor and pump and installed in on my old housing so I could clip my sensor in. 4 washes in and it is quiet again!

My original Whirlpool Gold dishwasher had been making a loud noise periodically for some time, then stopped working--only a hum. Determined that problem was frozen bearings on upper side of motor caused by small leak from tub. Could have replaced just motor, but replacing entire motor and pump assembly was as easy and just as economical. Ordered on Tuesday and was at my door the next morning by 10AM. Installation was unexpectedly easy in spite of no instructions with part. (Google for instructions and watch Youtube video) Of course you will have to remove dishwasher from cabinet to gain access to bottom of washer.
