This block was used in 65-66 Chevelles, Passenger cars and 65 Corvettes with L78 425 and 375 HP 396's. Rarer later dated block for mid to later 66 production. Block was pressure checked, line bored, rough bored to 4.246 and will finish hone to 4.250 for a standard sized 427 piston. There are 2 sleeves installed correctly---were checked and good to go! Block is decked & ready for Broaching & Stamping to make numbers matching. Perfect for your Concours type of restoration! Additional Engine services available including broaching, stamping, partial assembly and complete turn key builds! We are a 40+ years in business award winning Engine Machine Shop that specializes in building numbers matching BBC's 65-74 for Corvettes, Chevelles, Camaros, Novas and Impala/Passenger cars.
