Cheaply made; amp is actually plastic casing as well as the heat sink. No speaker level inputs and only power adjustment knob. Speaker will deflect beyond it's design with full power. Do not recommend unless price is less than $20.

Solid wood cabinet, Amp section is shielded, and has at Least 120 watts RMS! The 8" speaker is High excursion, and has no problem handling the high power. Great sub for little money!! P.S. for home use only, if you're wanting to do a dj or karaoke thing get an 18" w/ min 400 watts!

It's a good cheap entry level model with manual on/off. It originally comes with the Sony str k7000 which is an entry level AV. I bought it for the same AV receiver. For over $100 I recommend Sony sa w2500,same but with auto off/always on, crossover, and reverse/normal phase option. Also a retail Sony at similar prices.
