I bought this switch as I needed a managed, 24 port, gigabit switch, and since I couldn't afford a 2960G (which although is a pure L2 switch, was enough for my needs). For anyone who's not deep into Cisco devices and knows IOS or doesn't have the cash to afford one, I think it's a good deal. Furthermore, this switch has some L3 capabilites which I didn't look into yet, but it looks nice. Anyhow, I highly recommend to take a look at the user guide in Cisco's site so you'll be familiar with the features prior to deciding to purchase. That's how I decided to buy it anyway ;) All in all, i'm satisfied and believe the switch is undoubtedly a good deal for this price.
